On November 11th, 2012 an unprecedented meeting took place in the Bulgarian Evangelical Church “New Life”. Adolfo Hernandez – director of New Americans at the Chicago Mayor Office met the leaders of the Bulgarian community.
Simeon Stoilov defined the meeting as a step towards better recognition of the Bulgarian community in Chicagoland.
Adolfo Hernandez expressed his commitment to making Chicago the best city for immigrants in the world. He assured the Bulgarians, that he will try his best to help them succeed in their endeavors, since …”Your success is our success!”
