Martin Dimitrov (born in Bulgaria) came up with the idea of snapclips (a better weight clip) in his High School in Wheeling, IL during an entrepreneur class. After trying more than 200 versions of his product, he finally pitched it to the investors of “Shark Tank” on ABC and made a deal with 3 of them (billionaire Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner and Alex Rodriguez) for $150 000 in exchange of 30 % equity. His ultimate goal is to expand the distribution of snapclips nationwide and then globally, as well as to find other applications in different industries.
