Jovie is a Hall of Fame Award Winning TV Host/Anchor and Producer for “Wassup?! Jovie Calma LIVE!” being aired at Chicago Philippine Reports TV every Sunday at Chicago Channel 25 and a resident columnist for VIA Times Newsmagazine. She’s also an International Performing Actress and Model.As a Philanthropist, she’s a REAL beauty activist and Global Ambassador who advocates for suicide prevention and domestic violence.She has performed at various concerts and festivals as a featured artist and opening act to world-known performers and singing for the Saint Pope John Paul II in the 1995 World Youth Day in Manila, Philippines and at the Macrofestival for World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid, Spain.Jovie earned recognition at the 2010 Chicago Filipino American Hall of Fame for her Most Outstanding Service for VIA Times and CPRTV. Just recently, she was inducted in the NaFFAA Illinois 2015 Circle of Empowered Women.
